About Watts Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical

Established in 1979, Watts Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical began operating out of a portable shed in Charles’s back yard, with wife Lois Watts running the home office. In 1980, the founder’s son, Leonard Watts, a serving member of the United States Coast Guard, began working at the family business. In 1983, the company opened its first building at 803 Nilsen Street in Haines City, FL. In 1985, Leonard purchased the growing business from his father and took over its day-to-day operations, with Charles still employed as the license holder up to the day of his full retirement in 1989.

Watts Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical, continued to grow by leaps and bounds, building additional offices and warehouses. Firmly grounded in the local community, the company still operates from the facility at 803 Nilsen Street, Haines City, FL, with 26 full-time employees at the time of writing.
